Our Staff

We are extremely proud of our excellent staff of teachers and directors at the Cinco Ranch Southwest location in Katy! Our staff is part of the consistent care provided by Kids ‘R’ Kids.

All Kids ‘R’ Kids faculty and personnel are required to follow state regulations that apply to training. Our staff is trained in First Aid/CPR, Infectious Disease Control, Injury Prevention, and Child Abuse Awareness. Additional training in curriculum, child development, classroom arrangement, classroom management, age-appropriate activities, nutrition, field trip planning and OSHA regulations provide the staff with skills needed to create a quality learning environment. The staff are encouraged to further their education through CDA and CCP programs and are given opportunities to attend professional training conferences.

Director - Janet Brown

Ms. Janet has been working in the Early Childhood field since 1985. She is a licensed Director in the state of Texas. She is married, has two children. A son who is currently working for the Houston Fire Department and a daughter that is working towards her Animal Science degree at Texas A&M University. Ms. Janet enjoys spending time with her family and the outdoors.

Assistant Director - Manuela Carranza

Ms. ManuelaI has been working in the early childhood industry for the past 33 years.  She has worked many positions from classroom teacher, cook, educational coordinator, assistant director and director over the past 33 years. Her interests include shopping, going to the movies and spending time with family and friends.
